Season 6 of Rick and Morty has officially started a brief pause. The programme is taking a pause until Nov. 20 while the remaining four episodes of the season are floating about in orbit. I would be anticipating it, but the previous Thanksgiving episode left me with the same scars as Summer and Morty.
Adult Swim announced the hiatus in a tweet on October 9 with the message, “Please utilise this time to expand your mind in preparation for the remainder of the season.” Rick can be seen keeping his grandson’s eyes open in the picture.
So far, Adult Swim has released episodes of season 6 on successive Sundays at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Season one focused on the exploits of Rick, Morty, Summer, Beth, Space Beth, and Jerry. Rick revealed he had solved portal travel at the conclusion of episode 6, the most current one, which aired on October 9. He had delayed doing so throughout the season.
The sixth season of Rick and Morty is anticipated to premiere on HBO Max and Hulu (for those without Hulu + Live TV). In 2018, Adult Swim decided to air another 70 episodes of Rick and Morty. We will have seen 30 of them by the time season 6 is out.
I refer you to this description from a press release for additional information about season 6: “Season 6 of Rick and Morty has them back! Pick up where we left off, looking worse for wear and struggling. Will they be able to recover and go on new adventures? Or will they drown in a sea of faeces? No one knows! Piss! Family! Intrigue! Several dinosaurs! More booze! It’s time for another season of your favourite programme.”
