Michael C. Hall, a blood splatter analyst and the serial killer, will be back as the Bay Harbor Butcher to focus on killing other serial killers for Miami. How did “Dexter” end?
This show has a lot of drama. If you stopped watching it, we have news for you: we’ve got what you need. The sequence finale of Dexter aired on September 22, 2013. Some people were not happy with the ending. Shortly after his sister Debra Morgan found out he was the Bay Harbor Butcher, she was shot and killed by psychopath Darri Ingolfsson. Dexter blamed himself for the tragedy and took Deb’s body from the hospital. Then he cast her into the ocean, just like he did with all of his other victims. He called his true love Hannah McKay and his son Harrison. They were both going to Argentina to start a new life. Dexter thought everyone close to him would be doomed, so he drove his boat into a hurricane. All His friends and colleagues at the Miami Metro Police Department thought he died in the storm. But the character was found much later living a life of solitude as a lumberjack in Oregon.
When does “Dexter: New Blood” take place?
The next season of the show is set 10 years after the last one. Dexter is not in Oregon anymore. He is now living under the name of Jim Lindsay, and he is a shopkeeper in Iron Lake, New York.
Who are the returning cast members?
Sadly, there will not be many people we know in the TV show. Only Hall, Dexter’s dad, and John Lithgow will be back on the show. Nobody else has been announced yet. Carpenter and Lithgow died on the show. That means they can’t come back either. It is likely they will only appear in flashbacks and/or visions.
What about the new cast members?
“Dexter” has some new people coming. One of them is Kurt Caldwell, who is the mayor of the town. In the TV show “Julia Jones is Chief of Police” there are Angela Bishop and Logan. This show will have ten episodes, one less than the 12 episodes in each of the first eight seasons. On November 7, 2021, it will be on Sunday nights.
