A movie blockbuster is a series of movies. The first one will be popular, and then they will make more. In the credits of Jumanji, it said that there was going to be another movie. The film made $800.1 million worldwide, but it cost just $125-$132 million to make. It was very successful. So it was unavoidable that there would be a sequel. The next movie in the Jumanji franchise might be the third movie or the fourth.
If you count the original Jumanji, then we’re looking at Jumanji 4. But the filmmaker Jake Kasdan calls it Jumanji 3.
Jumanji 4 release date: When can we imagine it?
Welcome to the Jungle & The Next Level, both released on December 20, 2017. They were released two years apart on December 13, 2019. It will nope be a shock if there is another Jumanji movie in December 2021. The movie is in the extremely early stages of progress. As of April 2020, we are just starting to talk about all of that. “We’ve barely started [on the film],” Kasdan explained.
We were talking about something before the disaster. We will finish it as soon as everyone is settled. We all like working together, and we have liked making these. The release date for the game might not be in December 2021. We hope it is not, but we do not know for sure because it has not been confirmed yet.
Jumanji 4 cast: Who’s coming back?
A big part of the achievement of the new movies has been Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black. So we would be surprised if they were not back as their in-game Jumanji characters. The end of “The Next Level” means that they might not play as big of a role, but it is hard to imagine a sequel without them.
There will be an unlucky group of people called the ‘Unlucky Players.’ They will join Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blain, and Morgan Turner. There could also be another ‘Unlucky Player,’ like Danny DeVito. At the conclusion of The Next Level, however, Nick Jonas and Awkwafina reprise their roles as the other Jumanji avatars Jefferson “Seaplane” McDonough and Ming Fleetfoot, respectively. As previously reported, Colin Hanks will return as Alex Vreeke. Other potential returns include Nick Jonas and Awkwafina.

Jumanji 4 plot: How performs The Next Level ending set it up?
The sequel, as previously stated, picks up where the original left off. The Jumanji game world invading the real world is a recurring motif in both films. A follow-up movie will probably come out, and the problem will be solved. A solution may lie in going back into the Jumanji game world to allow Dr. Smolder Bravestone and the other explorers to return.
This is just speculation. The director of the movie Jake Kasdan told Digital Spy that he hasn’t planned out a follow-up yet. In the credits scene, we saw that there might be a sequel. The person who made the movie said that if people like the first one, they will have a conversation about making a sequel. He also said: “To me, when talking about a sequel, the thing that is most important is that it would have to be exciting on its own two feet in a way that the first two were for me.”
I would have to love the idea. I think there will be the third one. We are just starting to think about what that might be.
Jumanji 4 trailer: When will it land?
It will be a while before the movie is done. It’s not started filming yet. If a December 2021 release date think is correct, we might see the first trailer in July 2021. The first trailer for The Next Level arrived on July 1, 2019.
