Release news for Star Wars: Bad Batch Season 2 is depressing

The history of the franchise has been greatly influenced by Star Wars animation. The Clone Wars made Ahsoka Tano into a global figure, and Star Wars: Rebels served as a crucial starting point for works like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order—not to mention how Ahoksa will essentially function as a prequel to the programme. The Bad Batch is a more modern example.

Clone Force 99, a team of Clone Troopers with mutations that give them a special ability to handle any scenario, is the focus of the episode. The squad is forced to flee after Order 66 since they are some of the only troopers that were not harmed by the chips inserted in the rest of their species when they were created on Kamino.

Season 2 has been eagerly anticipated by the audience. Previously, it was said that the series would debut on Disney+ on September 28. Sadly, it now appears that the show’s return may have been postponed.

Cancelled Bad Batch Season 2?

The Bad Batch Season 2 is conspicuously absent from the Disney+ service’s September 2022 release schedule, which was officially revealed.

Since the second season of the show was supposed to premiere on September 28 back in June, its absence from this list may indicate that it has been postponed. It’s possible they will sneak release the premiere at D23, which also hosts the company’s Disney+ Day, which is coming up soon.

Other possible causes are that the corporation just neglected to list the series or that The Bad Batch was delayed as a result of the recent Andor delay.

One Day, Bad Batch Season 2 Will Premiere… Hopefully
Fans would be extremely disappointed if The Bad Batch was delayed. Since Season 1 of a show concluded last year, a lot of time has passed, and it goes without saying that viewers are eager for more.

The previous Star Wars Celebration trailer hinted at some fairly intense action. For starters, it appears like Commander Cody will get some attention, Scorch from Republic Commando might be looking for the Bad Batch, and a certain Wookie Jedi might require assistance.

If the series was really delayed, Lucasfilm might decide to stop producing it after the November 23 conclusion of Andor on Disney+. Though, if the studio is concerned about that, season 2 might continue beyond 2023.

Whatever they decide, perhaps it won’t be too long before viewers can continue following The Bad Batch’s adventure.
